Information posters for guests


    A poster dedicated to communication towards our guests has been produced by the sustainable development department. To guarantee the Charter’s credibility, the hotel should display this poster to its guests only when it has implemented:

- the compulsory actions for raising the awareness of the hotel staff (action 1), for setting objectives in limiting water and energy consumption (actions 5 and 24) and for analyzing the latter (actions 6 and 25);

- a minimum number of actions (including the five compulsory actions):
  o 15 actions for Formule 1, Etap hotel, Motel 6 and Studio 6;
  o 20 actions for Ibis, Suitehotel, Novotel, Mercure and Sofitel;

- at least one action visible to the clients (ref. table on page 6 and 7 in the practical guide).

The criteria may change in the coming years.

In addition, the hotel can provide any interested client with the list of implemented actions. This list can be printed directly from the intranet through the environment management tool (OPEN).
