Every year, Accor consumes as much water as a city of 850,000 inhabitants and as much energy as a city of 350,000.

Expanded in 2005, the Environment Charter now includes 65 actions intended to help protect natural resources and address the issue of climate change.

In 2006, 3228 hotels applied the charter.
