Develop your skills with Accor
For the past 40 years, training and development of skills of our employees have been at the core of the Group’s Human Resources policy and contribute every day to the development of our teams and the professionalism of their service to our customers.
To meet the high standards expected by our customers, Accor values training highly and commits to providing at least one training course per year for employees.
The Group’s training strategy is based on a network of 16 Academies in the main regions of the world. This network permanently researches and provides innovative solutions to ensure the effectiveness of training actions and facilitate “knowledge management” through sharing experience and best practices within the Group.
The Accor Académie’s permanent objective in the world is to accompany the professional progress and personal development of the Group’s 150,000 employees, and to provide local training solutions adapted to a country’s cultural characteristics.
In 2008, 160,941 employees participated in at least one training course, of which over 135,300 were non management, an effort representing 2% of the workforce.
