Testimony of Mads Breum Nielsen, General Manager of Etap Hôtel Portsmouth, United Kingdom

In 2005, Mads Breum Nielsen finished his hotel and restaurant management course at Oxford Brooks University (United Kingdom). He then joined the Accor program for new graduates and he learned the ropes at the Birmingham Novotel as part of the Food & Beverage team.
In 2006, at the end of the program, he joined the London City South Novotel as restaurant and bar manager, assisting the F&B Manager.
At the beginning of 2008, he was offered the position as general manager of the Etap Hotel Portsmouth, which was under construction. After a month of careful planning and a successful opening, Mads is, at the age of 27, a general manager, three years after graduating from University.
