To celebrate Twelfth Night in 2010, Lenôtre has created the “Baba” cake

To celebrate Twelfth Night in 2010, Lenôtre wanted to combine two traditional recipes: galette des rois and baba au rhum, named by the Polish King Stanislas Leszczynski for Ali Baba, his favourite hero in A Thousand and One Nights.

The two flavourful and emblematic recipes have been joined together to produce the “Baba” cake, complete with rum and frothy cream flavoured with Bourbon vanilla.

Maison Lenôtre has entrusted the creation of the famous charms to one of the world’s top specialists in medals and decorations: Arthus-Bertrand.
Seven different charms, evoking the theme of Peace, will be hidden inside the Lenôtre cakes.

Lenôtre awaits food lovers and charm collectors at its boutiques starting January 2, 2010.
