Haiti emergency: Accor and its Foundation mobilize to help
Haiti emergency: Alongside its NGO partners, Accor and its Foundation are mobilizing to help the population of Haiti after the devastating earthquake on 12 January.
Accor has set up direct access to Red Cross websites through its own worldwide intranet network for those of its 150,000 employees wishing to make a direct donation.
An emergency fund of 50,000 euros has been earmarked by the Accor Foundation the French Red Cross to help finance purchase of hygiene kits and blankets, supply drinking water and build shelters.
Numerous initiatives are being set up by Accor employees, through the brands, the head offices and countries, such as Accor Services in France, which is organizing a huge campaign to collect Luncheon Vouchers from its customers, sales leads and employees for the French Red Cross.
