The Sofitel network comprises 121 luxury hotels. Decorated by well-known designers (Jean Nouvel, Jean-Paul Viguier, Jacques Grange…) Sofitel hotels are inspired by the history and environments of their locations, a mix of authenticity and tradition in tandem with modern trends and requirements.
Five hotels will open in 2009 and 16 others are currently undergoing major renovation.
One of Sofitel’s development priorities is also to become established in all premier destinations and major international capital cities.
The Sofitel brand’s main partners are Airline Companies, American Express and Visa International. For the Airline Companies and American Express joint ventures, agreements have been developed around their customer loyalty programs – Frequent Travelers and Membership Rewards. To reinforce its brand image, Sofitel has also teamed with the luxury agencies for the American market (STEP Program).
