Those commitments are implemented with countries’ operational, sales and marketing teams to enhance Brands’ awareness and image, to generate new business and public relations opportunities.
Sofitel
Aligned with a certain lifestyle, Sofitel, the luxury hotel Brand of Accor, present in 38 countries, shares the values of golf: a passion for details, a spirit of conviviality and a quest for perfection.
Sofitel is an Official Partner to Evian Masters, the world's second biggest women's golf tournament, broadcast in 122 countries. The Brand also supports amateur and Pro-Am tournaments in different countries: Morocco, France, Luxemburg, Argentina, New Zealand...

Pullman offers upscale 49 hotels for business travelers in regional and international capitals, close to major airports and tourism resorts, in 16 countries around the world.
Since 2007, the Brand associates its communication to tennis, a sport which combines elegance and professionalism, offering public relations platforms in line with its clients.
The first commitments have been implemented in France, with ATP professional tournaments:
Open 13 (Marseille), Open Sud de France (Montpellier) and BNP Paribas Masters (Paris).
Similar commitments will be developed in other countries, according to sales and marketing.
Novotel
With a network of 395 hotels in 58 countries, Novotel is implied in sport, which embodies unifying values and challenge, with commitments which adapts to regions/countries where the Brand is present.
In France, Novotel is partner of golf, as an Official Partner of the French Open, an Official Supplier of the French Federation and the Title Sponsor of “Novotel Trophy of Personalities”.
In football, the Brand is an Official Partner of the Danone Nations Cup, a world's football tournament for children age 10-12, with more than 2.5 million participants in 40 countries.
In Australia, Novotel is the Official Partner of the national Swimming team, professional and school rugby clubs, as well as two athletes: Julia Moriarty (tennis) and Matt Cowdrey (swimming).
In New Zealand, the Brand supports professional rugby teams.
For this same sport, it is also an Official Partner of the Scottish national team.
To accompany its development in Latin America and the opening of Novotel Buenos Aires, the Brand is the Official Hotel of The Dakar, the off-road automobile race taking place in Argentina, Chile and Peru in 2012.
Mercure
With 674 hotels in 49 countries, Mercure boasts establishments with distinctive personalities carefully preserved through the type of services offered and the decor, both of which vary from one hotel to the next.
Mercure hotels regularly partners with shows and festivals of their town or region: for example musicals such as “Miss Saigon” in Australia, “The Sound of Music”, “Beatles in the Sky with Diamonds” and “Hairspray” in Brazil, Orchestras in Hungary, jazz festivals in Burkina Faso…

Etap Hotel / ibis budget
Etap Hotel / ibis budget offers 480 well-located hotels in 15 European countries for smart travelers.
The Brand is an Official Supplier of the Tour de France cycle race. On this occasion, it organizes a network animation on its website, its 300 hotels in France and presents a caravan of 9 advertising vehicles, which can be seen by close to 15 million spectators along the roads.
Etap Hotel / ibis budget is also present on “classic” races Paris-Roubaix, Paris-Nice, Dauphiné Critérium and an Official Partner of the French Federation, which includes a presence on the National Championship.
Motel6
- With 1,028 hotels, Motel 6 is the leader within the economy segment in the United States and also have a presence in Canada.
The Brand has been an Official Sponsor of college basketball for the West Coast (PAC-10) and the West to Mid West region (Big 12) and for the Mid-West (Big Ten) conference. - All three basketball conferences align with the Brand core geography, and help to strengthen presence and awareness.

Accorhotels.com is the only hotel booking portal to be adapted in 26 points of sales, geolocated and animated in each country to meet the needs and interests of clients around the world.
Accorhotels.com is partner to Team Europcar professional cycling team, with its logo visible on the jerseys and vehicles of the racing cyclists, including 2010 French champion Thomas Voeckler.
It accompanies them through accommodation, during the whole international season, in multibrand hotels. Net surfers can also discover the team’s life, with videos, photos and news.
