Partnerships

A group-to-group strategy

Since 1998, Accor has been developing partnerships with major firms. These alliances manifest a strategic determination to adopt an overall group-to-group approach that is advantageous for both customers and partners. Naturally, this type of cooperation is concerned with business segments that offer a potential for synergies or that target the same customer base known for its mobility: transport, leisure activities, information and travel-related services.

More advantages, more services, more easily

The aim of Accor's joint strategy with its partners is to increase market share in a profitable way, share resources in order to cut costs and time, increase the visibility and recognition of their brands, and finally, create value for customers, for example, by developing new services and providing quick and easy access to products and services.

Air transport

Air France: More services and privileges

Since 1999, Accor has partnered Air France in all markets and for all customer types with more than 200 destinations served by both companies worldwide. This strategic partnership involves loyalty, joint sales, distribution, marketing and communication initiatives.

The partners cooperate closely on customer loyalty with the Sofitel, Pullman, MGallery, Novotel, Mercure and Suitehotel brands included in the Air France KLM Flying Blue loyalty program. Members earn Miles through stay in hotels with eligible rates. Silver, Gold and Platinum Flying Blue members benefit from specific advantages in Sofitel, Pullman and MGallery hotels.
To add to their enjoyment, customers can also convert them into Premium Accor nights in selected hotels.
Flying Blue is also integrated in the A|Club program, allowing the cardholders to convert their A|Club point to Flying Blue Miles.

The two companies multiply the opportunities for joint sales, specifically through the Internet, with a direct access to each partner’s online booking system.

Airline loyalty programs:  Earn Miles as you sleep!

Sofitel, Pullman, MGallery, Grand Mercure, Novotel, Mercure take part in these programs, either in a given country or region, or worldwide.
To earn some Miles on hotel stays at eligible rates, customers simply present their membership card on arrival. They also regularly receive special offers allowing to double or triple their Miles in participating hotels.

Because our customers travel around the world, we help them get even more out of their hotels stays through our participation in major airline loyalty programs.
