Accor Foundation
Generosity and solidarity have always been at the heart of the Group’s culture. These values came to something tangible with the creation of the Accor Foundation in October 2008.
The Accor Foundation strives to support and develop socially-responsible actions initiated by the Group’s employees. Its challenge is “Linking cultures and providing support for the development of individuals and their integration into their environment”.
The Accor Foundation’s distinctive feature is that it exclusively supports projects proposed by employees. It is an opportunity for the Accor Group’s employees to add social and human breadth and depth to their work.
The solidarity projects supported by the Accor Foundation must cover one of the following 3 fields of intervention:
- Local know-how Supporting socio-economic initiatives highlighting traditional crafts and techniques.
- Training and insertion Encouraging integration and insertion of young people in difficulty aged 15-30.
- Humanitarian and emergency Helping populations in great difficulty and answering to humanitarian disasters.
