What is Accor Services’ activity?

Accor Services designs and markets, for companies and communities, a large range of prepaid products and services creating performance and well-being. With a presence in 40 countries throughout 5 continents, Accor Services is the world leader in the market for prepaid services.

What is Accor Services’ mission?

Accor Services’ mission is to develop added value solutions to serve everybody’s performance and well-being. Their vocation is:

Who are Accor Services’ clients ?

Can you explain the term prepaid?

This is a service or a product which has been paid beforehand. For instance, a paper voucher on which is written a specific amount in Euro or an electronic support such as a card which has been credited a certain amount.

When was this activity created?

The activity started in 1962 when the Ticket Restaurant was created; there is now the flagship product of the division.

Why has Accor Services created the PrePay Solutions company with MasterCard?

Both parties have agreed to this strategic alliance in February 2009 in order to give birth to a major protagonist in prepaid services in Europe. This should be able to respond to the ever-increasing demand in added value solutions for electronic payment.

The joint-venture will benefit from the complementary expertise of both groups: Accor Services’ expertise in developing and distributing prepaid services and MasterCard’s for their innovating strength and their experience in terms of financial transactions management.
